Some of my Issues are Unique

August 2nd, 2006 at 05:38 am

A full refrigerator makes me uncomfortable. Too much food makes it easy to lose things. It makes me antsy like I have to use things.

When the fridge is emptier I feel more peaceful. What’s up with that?

(If I ever become a bazillionaire I will order a fridge that is twice as wide and half as deep.) I will be able to see everything and never have to go into rescue mode.)

I'm kinda with you on the refrigerator issues. The clock is ticking when you put leftovers in the fridge - gotta use them within a few days, otherwise its cream of pencillin soup. A cleaned out, semi-empty fridge means you might use what you've stored - always a good feeling.

Perhaps it means that you're not a clutter bug, which is a very good thing in my book.

I too like to stock only things that I feel is important, which is true for anything, including food.

I keep a pretty empty fridge too!

I can relate. I feel like everything in the fridge has a countdown timer relentlessly ticking away. Use it or lose it. And I hate the feeling that I am wasting food.

Perfectly normal. Besides, it's more energy efficient...refrigerators need air circulation, unlike freezers.

I hate having a full frig, trying to reach in to get things without tipping others over, and I do blog occasionally about the items MIA that are later "found"...ICK.

Wow, I'm relieved. I thought I was supposed to be full of gratitude for the bounty, and upset by a "lack" of food! Sometimes we think we are more different than we really are!
