Got Me Some Free Panties

I have a buddy at work. She knows I'm frugal. I have become a way for her to recycle items. It's great for both of us. I've gotten a wallet, a few boxes of cereal the family disliked, brown paper sacks....and now, some panties. Six pair, unworn, she bought the wrong kind and didn't see until she opened them.

    Lucky you! I was in desperate need and finally broke down and purchased two packages at Costco. $9.99 a package, for I'm not sure how many...??? I promptly washed them and have them stacked in my drawer and know I am set for underwear for a few years.... they must have had six pairs or maybe nine?? I'm getting old...

    WAY TO GO!! I have been giving serious consideration to making my own panties. I have plenty currently, but I think it would be a great way to save some extra money.

    I enjoy sewing and I have all the supplies I need including a HUGE roll of that thin elastic lace for the edges ( received free). Why let it waste??? If I make a small mistake no one will see it so it won't matter.

    With all the supplies on hand, even if I find I can't do it, I will not be out anything. Although I seriously doubt I won't be able to master sewing panties. They can't be all that hard.
