Most of you who drop by and peek at My Challenge are probably regular Saving Advice .com Members. For those that aren’t, Well, Saving Advice has a $20 Challenge, and My Minimum Wage Challenge is my 2006 $20 Challenge. (I spent the $20 on the YouNeedABudget spreadsheet to track My Challenge.) You can read more about the 2006 Challenge
here, the 2007 Challenge here, and the voting here. I was nominated for Top 2006 $20 Challenge along with 9 others, and I won!I am very grateful to all of you who voted. The nominees were very worthy, and I’m surprised as well as pleased. I actually get $100, which is kind of a shocker. I won’t touch it until March, I promise!

I haven't tracked your challenge long enough, but I've always wondered just how in the world you can get by with a minimum wage budget.
I'm pushing as hard as I can with my budget, but it's still above minimum wage level. Unless you don't count rent.

Congratulations on taking the honors and the prize. I don't think anyone is at all surprised by the outcome. Your challenge has been one of the most intriguing posted over the past year, and you've chronicled your progress (and setbacks) with an engaging candor. I, for one, will be sorry to see the twelve months of your minimum wage experiment come to an end. It has been engrossing to follow.
Regards,
